Job summary

Romac Logistics in Bradford is seeking an organized transport office professional. The role involves coordinating allocations and tracking for internal and partner hauliers, ensuring on-time collections and delivering accurate updates to customers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in FM transport office, be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and maintain high attention to detail and communication with teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in FM transport office – preferred but not essential.
• Must be able to work on own initiative.
• Experience in a fast-paced working environment would be ideal.
• Can do attitude and problem solving mindset.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate transport work/activity to internal and partner hauliers.
• Communicate and track all customers activity.
• Ensure compliance to tracking via telemetry system.
• Report all delivery issues to Management through proper processes.
• Direct defects, accidents or safety issues to the contract manager.
• Ensure on-time collection targets are achieved.
• Collate on-time delivery information within contractual obligations.
• Coordinate potential issues with internal departments for solutions.
• Report, record and rectify defects following company procedures.
