Job summary

Portfolio is seeking a Transport Coordinator to support the Transport Manager in organising all customer deliveries and collections. The role focuses on coordinating across multiple depots, liaising with depot managers and drivers, and adapting to changing orders while ensuring safety compliance and timely reporting.

You will work 7:30am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work, in a collaborative environment with the Customer Service Team and Depot Managers.

Qualifications

• Experience using transport planning software to calculate loads and plan routes.
• Strong communication with depot managers, drivers and customer service teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Transport Manager to organise all customer deliveries and collections.
• Utilise transport planning software to calculate delivery loads and route across multiple vehicles and 5 depots.
• Liaise with depot managers to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Coordinate with drivers as the main point of contact for queries.
• Adapt to last minute orders and collections.
• Comply with all H&S regulations.
• Complete daily/weekly reports.

We are recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to efficiently and effectively assist the Transport Manager to organise all customer deliveries and collections. The transport coordinator will enjoy working collaboratively with the Customer Service Team and Depot Managers, to ensure all orders are delivered in full on time.

• Utilising transport planning software to calculate delivery loads and route across multiple vehicles and 5 depots across the country.
• Liaising with Depot managers to ensure customer requirements are met

• Adapt to last minute orders and collections
• Comply with all H&S regulations
