Gist's Transport team in Barnsley is seeking a dynamic Transport Coordinator to support the M&S Food service. You will work in a newly refurbished operation and help connect drivers, scheduling and administration to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced transport environment.
• IT literate with Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Willing to learn and coordinate with teams and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for drivers, briefs and debriefs.
• Ensure license/compliance with Operating License requirements.
• Drive operational excellence in cost, service and peak planning.
• Provide customer service and resolve live operational issues.
• Monitor routes and manage supplier queries with escalation as needed.
• Manage daily admin tasks including payroll, holidays and scheduling.
• Assist with wider team administration and export activities.
