Job summary

Routes To Work Limited is recruiting a Transport Coordinator for Eurocentral, Motherwell, to cover day or night shifts in a busy transport operation. You will coordinate schedules, support driver and vehicle allocation, and monitor deliveries to ensure smooth daily transport activity.

Ideal candidates have experience in transport, logistics or fast-paced environments, with strong organisational and communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, distribution or a similar fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Confident when communicating with drivers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport and delivery schedules.
• Assist with allocating drivers and vehicles efficiently.
• Monitor deliveries and collections throughout the shift.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams and other departments.
• Respond quickly to delays, changes and operational issues.
• Keep transport systems and records up to date.
• Communicate delivery information and updates to the team.
• Support drivers with queries during shifts.
• Ensure smooth handovers between shifts and maintain high customer service standards.
• Promote a safe and efficient transport operation.
