Job summary

Lockwood Haulage Ltd is seeking a highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join our Transport team. You will manage evening deliveries and collections, and communicate with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Acting as a central hub within the Transport Office, you will plan operations, anticipate challenges, and implement real-time solutions, staying calm under pressure and delivering high service levels across shifts.

Qualifications

• Office-based experience, ideally in transport or logistics.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the day/night transport plan, making adjustments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Organise and track daily collections and deliveries.
• Brief and support drivers throughout shifts.
• Handle queries and operational issues quickly and professionally.
• Support out-of-hours operations, ensuring continuity and accurate handovers.
