Routes To Work Limited is recruiting a Transport Coordinator for Eurocentral, Motherwell, to cover day or night shifts in a busy transport operation. You will coordinate schedules, support driver and vehicle allocation, and monitor deliveries to ensure smooth daily transport activity.

Ideal candidates have experience in transport, logistics or fast-paced environments, with strong organisational and communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport and delivery schedules.

• Keep transport systems and records up to date.

Transport Coordinator – Day Shift or night shift

Location: Eurocentral, Motherwell
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
Hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm or 1800 - 0600
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off

A well-established logistics and distribution company based at Eurocentral is looking to recruit a motivated and organised Transport Coordinator to join its busy day-shift transport operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in transport, logistics, distribution or a fast-paced operational environment who enjoys coordinating people, vehicles and deliveries and solving problems as they arise.

The Role

Working as part of the transport team, responsibilities will include:

Coordinating daily transport and delivery schedules

Supporting the efficient allocation of drivers and vehicles

Monitoring deliveries and collections throughout the shift

Liaising with drivers, warehouse teams and other departments

Responding to delays, changes and operational issues

Keeping relevant transport systems and records up to date

Communicating delivery information and updates

Supporting drivers with queries throughout their shifts

Ensuring accurate handovers between shifts

Helping maintain high standards of customer service

Supporting a safe and efficient transport operation
