Job summary

Romac Logistics Ltd are seeking a Transport Office Coordinator to work in Motherwell. The role coordinates office activities between driving teams and captures information to provide daily and weekly operational reports, ensuring services are delivered to a high standard.

The successful candidate will brief drivers, verify licenses, manage tachograph and telemetry compliance, and prepare customer activity reports using in-house systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, transport or logistics
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word
• Good problem-solving skills and initiative
• Driving licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Brief drivers on daily activities
• Ensure drivers have correct licenses and complete checks
• Complete all declarations, RTWs and sign-offs per process
• Manage the digital tachograph process for compliance
• Manage telemetry system compliance
• Report delivery issues to Transport Management promptly
• Support Transport Shift Manager with investigations into accidents/incidents
• Prepare and distribute customer activity reports using in-house systems
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues
• Ensure defects are reported, recorded and rectified per procedures
