Job summary

Romac Logistics is seeking a Senior Transport & Warehouse Operations Leader to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the transport and warehouse operation at Eurocentral. You will drive safety, efficiency and service levels while leading the site management team.

The role requires a Transport Manager CPC qualification, proven senior management experience in chilled/FMCG environments, strong budgeting skills and the ability to improve performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Transport Manager CPC qualification (National or International) required.
• Experience leading large transport and warehousing operations.
• Proven budgeting and P&L management experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of UK transport legislation and tachographs.
• Experience in chilled or temperature-controlled logistics.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for day-to-day transport and warehouse operation.
• Drive safety, efficiency and service levels to meet customer requirements.
• Lead the site management team with accountability and high performance.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets and profitability; implement cost-saving actions.
• Support business growth with new transport and warehousing volumes.
