Arla Foods is looking for a proficient and reliable Transport Assistant to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working 40 hours per week, you will join our Leeds-based multifunctional team to collaborate closely with the entire Logistics department. The role involves interacting with all levels within the organization, from Vice President to frontline colleagues. There are opportunities for development within the role and the organization.
Main Responsibilities
As a Transport Assistant, you will provide planning support for the logistics departments and depots. Your duties include reconciling data, identifying and driving cost savings, managing purchase orders, and resolving invoice queries. You will also provide out-of-hours support for operational queries on a rota basis.
Skills and Competencies
We are looking for an individual capable of understanding and managing data administration and invoicing, with a focus on improving and streamlining processes. Excellent communication skills and confidence to challenge where necessary are essential. Additional desired qualities include:

You will work within a friendly, supportive team but must also be capable of working independently. Meeting deadlines weekly and monthly requires good prioritization. Experience in the financial sector is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
