Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Warrington is seeking a Transport Administrator to support the night shift at the Iceland Distribution Centre.

You will help keep vehicles moving, drivers compliant and customers happy, ensuring deliveries reach stores across the UK. The role is full-time on a 4 on, 4 off pattern, 06:00 to 18:00, with duties including dispatching drivers, maintaining transport records and resolving customer queries.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Capable of delivering accurate transport administrative tasks under pressure.
• Customer-focused approach with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently while contributing as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and support the successful delivery of the daily transport plan.
• Conduct driver debriefs and ensure all transport paperwork is completed accurately.
• Manage transport administration and maintain up-to-date operational records.
• Monitor and update transport systems, including driver and vehicle information.
• Build strong working relationships with drivers, colleagues and customers.
• Resolve customer queries and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
