Job summary

GXO Logistics in Dartford is seeking a Transport Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis to support our IKEA distribution centre. You will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 09:00 to 21:00 and handle transport clerical duties, vehicle administration, and customer service.

You will produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports and assist with compliance to company processes. GXO offers 20 days leave plus Bank Holidays, pension, wellbeing programmes, and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Understanding of Tachograph compliance and Working Time Directives.
• Good MS Office knowledge.
• Strong communication skills, with ability to work on own initiative as well as team engagement/delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of transport clerical duties for the site.
• Be part of a team that is responsible for vehicle administration.
• Manage customer service both internally and externally.
• Support the transport operation in compliance to company processes.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested in a timely manner.
