Job summary

GXO Logistics is hiring a Transport Administrator for our Doncaster Home Delivery team. The role is full-time, five days out of seven, with early and late shift patterns to cover deliveries and trunking.

You will coordinate daily transport operations, allocate drivers and vehicles, and ensure compliance and accurate records. You will work closely with drivers, provide route information, monitor performance and respond quickly to delays or issues while upholding high safety standards and customer

Qualifications

• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport operations, ensuring deliveries and shuttle activities are completed on time.
• Allocate drivers, vehicles and workloads, monitor fleet movements and respond to delays.
• Provide briefings and ensure drivers have correct paperwork and route information.
• Maintain safety and compliance, including drivers’ hours and vehicle checks.
• Monitor transport KPIs and record daily/weekly reporting and customer issues.
