Job summary

GXO in Doncaster is seeking a Transport Administrator to join the busy Home Delivery team. You’ll coordinate daily transport operations, allocate drivers and vehicles, and ensure paperwork and routes are up to date. The role offers a full-time schedule with 5 days out of 7 and early to late shift patterns.

You will support drivers, monitor safety, and maintain transport records including KPIs. A strong eye for detail and IT proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience using transport systems such as Flexipod/Winsight and Vision.
Flexible, reliable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily transport operations, ensuring deliveries and trunking are completed on time.
Allocate drivers, vehicles and workloads, monitoring fleet movements and delays.
Brief and support drivers with paperwork, equipment and route information.
Maintain safety and compliance including drivers' hours and vehicle checks.
Track KPIs and document transport performance and issues.
