Job summary

GXO Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking a Transport Administrator for our night shift at the Iceland Distribution Centre in Livingston. You will help keep vehicles moving, drivers compliant and customers happy, coordinating the daily transport plan.

In this full-time role, a 4 on 4 off pattern from 06:00 to 18:00, you will dispatch drivers, manage transport administration and maintain accurate records while delivering excellent service across the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a busy transport operation.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and support the daily transport plan.
• Conduct driver debriefs and ensure transport paperwork is complete.
• Manage transport administration and maintain records.
• Monitor and update transport systems, including driver/vehicle information.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, colleagues and customers.
• Resolve customer queries and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
