Job summary

Brook Street Recruitment is seeking a Transport Administrator for a well-established transport and logistics business based in Mallusk. You will support the transport operation with general admin, data entry, and customer communications, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.

The role suits an organised, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values excellent service. Hours are 8:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, with a salary around £28k per year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administration or customer service role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out a variety of general administrative duties to support the transport operation.
• Accurately updating and managing information on internal systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Communicating with external customers via telephone and email.
• Liaising with internal departments, including the warehouse and transport teams.
• Handling customer queries, complaints, and service issues in a professional manner.
• Investigating problems and finding practical solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all administration is completed efficiently.
