Job summary

CML(Part of the Culina Group) is hiring a Transport Administrator at its Telford site. The role provides essential administrative support to the Transport department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and regulatory compliance.

The salary ranges from £25,445 to £26,445 per annum, with Sunday-Thursday hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Ideal candidates will have strong MS Office skills, experience with SAP invoicing, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in an FMCG environment is desirable.
• Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a pressurised environment.
• Able to work using own initiative and with little supervision.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain systems for WTD and tachograph rules and regulations.
• Create daily reports to the Transport department regarding tachograph information.
• Maintain records for agency drivers, process invoices using SAP, keep accurate records of agencies’ terms and conditions.
• Input and monitor drivers’ holidays and sickness absence, maintain the timekeeping and attendance system, process sick notes.
• Receive and monitor fuel deliveries, maintain the fuel monitoring system.
• Maintenance of driver notice boards.
• Keep subsistence payment spreadsheet up to date and solve wage queries.
• Provide various reports and spreadsheets for internal departments in a timely manner.
• Any other formal and legal duties.
