The Bedford College Group is seeking a Transition Team Leader for its Wellingborough campus. You will build relationships with at‑risk learners, provide mentoring and progression support, and lead initiatives to improve attendance, wellbeing and employability.

You will work with teams across curriculum, pastoral and external partners to ensure student progression. Experience in student support and engagement, strong communication and project management skills, and a commitment to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Level 3 or higher youth work/teaching qualification and GCSE Maths/English.
• Commitment to safeguarding and ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Build positive relationships with at‑risk learners and provide mentoring and targeted support.
• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing using restorative approaches.
• Deliver enrichment, employer engagement and progression activities.
• Collaborate with curriculum, pastoral and external agencies to support learners.
• Monitor progress, attendance and outcomes and contribute to safeguarding.
