Job summary

Activate Learning is seeking a Student Experience Team Leader to work with the Regional Head of Student Experience across Bracknell and Wokingham College campuses. You will oversee and enhance the student experience, ensuring access to resources for academic, social, and personal success.

You will lead a team, engage diverse student groups, and implement enrichment activities in line with group strategy while maintaining safeguarding and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, ideally in education, youth work, social care or public-facing environments.
• Experience managing and supporting individuals with behavioural challenges, including those involved with Police, Probation or Youth Justice Services.
• Experience leading or managing a team and a customer-focused approach to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, organisational and case management skills; able to manage competing priorities.
• Experience in trauma-informed environments is desirable.
• FE sector experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Regional Head of Student Experience to maintain high-quality student experience and campus community outside of teaching areas.
• Contribute to local leadership at College campuses.
• Engage with all student groups on campus (including online) to gather feedback and drive improvements.
• Coordinate a meaningful enrichment programme aligned with group strategy and annual plan.
• Facilitate the Student Voice programme at both campuses.
• Collaborate with internal networks to ensure adherence to Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Ofsted regulations.
