Bedford College Group is seeking a Transition Team Leader for the Wellingborough Campus to support student engagement, wellbeing and progression. The role emphasises mentoring, safeguarding and collaborative working with curriculum and external partners.

You will lead activities that promote attendance, personal development and successful transitions into further education, employment or training. Excellent development opportunities and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 youth work or teaching qualification is essential.
• GCSE Maths and English required with safeguarding commitment.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Engage with students and provide transition support to improve attendance and progression.
• Promote positive behaviour, resilience and wellbeing using restorative approaches.
• Deliver employer engagement activities and progression opportunities.
• Collaborate with curriculum, pastoral and safeguarding teams for holistic support.
• Monitor student progress, report outcomes and support safeguarding duties.
