Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking an Inclusion and Development Coordinator to support students across health, social care and childcare programs at Bedford Campus. You will coordinate learner support, wellbeing initiatives and safeguarding, while working with curriculum teams, parents and external partners to promote student success.

Qualifications

  • Educated to at least Level 3 with GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Experience in student support, advice and guidance, mentoring, coaching or learner development environments.
  • Strong safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate targeted learner support to address attendance, engagement and achievement.
  • Promote wellbeing, safeguard and inclusion, coordinate referrals and support plans.
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams and external partners to support learners and encourage participation.
  • Maintain intervention records, monitor progress and contribute to audits and quality improvement.
  • Support college-wide events and professional development to enhance learner success.
