Job summary

Moulton College is seeking a dedicated Transition Assistant - SEND to support young people with additional needs as they transition into college life and beyond.

Working closely with students, families, Local Authorities and college staff, you will deliver a bespoke transition journey tailored to each learner's needs. This is a fixed-term contract until July 2027, with interviews scheduled for late October 2026.

• Deliver a bespoke transition journey tailored to each learner's needs.
• Provide guidance, encouragement and practical support from initial expressions of interest through settling on courses.
• Coordinate with students, families, Local Authorities and college staff to support holistic transition.

• Salary £21,802.65 - £22,465.84 per annum (pro rata to the full time equivalent of £26,366.00 - £27,168.00 per annum)

Working closely with students, families, Local Authorities, and college staff, you will deliver a bespoke transition journey tailored to each learner's individual needs.

From the moment a prospective student expresses an interest in joining Moulton College through to becoming settled on the most appropriate course, you will provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support every step of the way.

Please note this position is a fixed-term contract until July 2027.

Interviews for this role will be taking place week commencing 26 October 2026.
