Job summary

Cathcart Associates Group Ltd is seeking a Business Change Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join a large-scale transformation programme across Scotland and the UK.

You will work with project teams, senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure changes are adopted and embedded, focusing on customer journeys, new technology, and cultural change.

The role offers hybrid working with offices in Aberdeen, Perth, Glasgow or Inverness, and a salary of £45,000–£66,000 plus a bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering business change across large-scale transformation programmes.
• Comfortable working across technology, process, people and cultural change.
• Strong knowledge of change management methodologies, ideally including Prosci ADKAR.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience working in complex, operationally critical environments.
• Ideally experience within a regulated industry or another environment where change needs to be carefully managed.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment with an interest in LEAN thinking and continuous improvement.
• Pragmatic and adaptable, with the ability to apply change methodology appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Lead business change activity across major transformation initiatives from strategy and planning through to adoption and embedding.
• Develop and deliver structured change strategies and plans, using Prosci ADKAR and other appropriate change management approaches.
• Assess the impact of changes across people, customer journeys and technology and identify the support required to transition teams successfully.
• Work closely with project and technology teams to build change activity into transformation programmes from the outset.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the change journey.
• Coordinate communications, engagement, readiness and training activity to help people understand and adopt new ways of working.
• Support cultural and behavioural change programmes alongside technology and process transformation.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve customer journeys and ways of working, applying LEAN thinking and continuous improvement principles.
• Monitor adoption and readiness, identifying barriers and taking action to address them.
