Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in the Transfer Agency Team in Guernsey. You will ensure efficiency of the section, handle client requests, and meet SLAs while guiding junior staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include onboarding new clients, supervising the team, maintaining procedures, and supporting accounting and distribution processes. The role requires prior fund administration experience and strong leadership in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with a financial institution, preferably in private equity.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Understanding of fund administration and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Transfer Agency Team to ensure outputs meet SLAs and company procedures.
• Guide junior staff and build strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with fund documentation and AML/regulatory requirements.
• Support supervision, monitoring and appraisal of the team.
• Assist with control and production of management, interim and audited accounts.
