Job summary

Marshall Motor Group is seeking a results-driven finance & insurance leader to drive FCA-compliant sales across multiple brands. You will support sales teams, advise on deals and part exchanges, and mentor staff to strengthen product knowledge in F&I.

The role emphasizes customer focus, coaching excellence, and a culture of integrity and high performance within a large, multi-store automotive group.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Transaction or Business Manager in a franchised automotive dealership.
• Strong commercial awareness and solid understanding of F&I regulation and best practice.
• Organised, confident team leader, capable of coaching and driving high-performance sales culture.
• Customer-focused, compliance-driven mindset with a track record of helping others succeed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the sale of finance, insurance, warranties and value-added products in compliance with FCA guidelines.
• Support Sales Executives with expert advice, assist in closing deals and appraising part exchanges.
• Lead by example; mentor and develop the team’s performance and product knowledge, especially F&I.
• Manage performance reporting on finance and insurance and drive continuous improvement.

• You'll facilitate the sale of finance, insurance, warranties and value-added products, ensuring compliance with all FCA guidelines.
• You'll support the Sales Executives by providing expert advice and assistance in closing deals, appraising part exchanges, and guiding customers through their purchase journey.
• You'll lead by example, mentoring and developing your team to improve their performance and product knowledge, particularly around F&I.
• You'll manage performance reporting on finance and insurance, ensuring accurate tracking and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Someone with experience as a Transaction or Business Manager from a franchised automotive dealership, though we will consider a high-performing Sales Executive or Sales Controller ready to step up.
• Someone with strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of F&I regulation and best practice.
• Someone organised, a confident team leader who can inspire trust, coach effectively, and support a high-performance sales culture.
• Most importantly, someone who thrives in a customer-focused, compliance-driven environment, and who's ready to help others succeed while delivering great outcomes.

Compensation

£30,000 basic | £55,000+ OTE with ability to overachieve + company car; 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays (increases with service); Life assurance & pension scheme; Discounts on car servicing, purchase & more; Access to exclusive shopping and lifestyle perks.

Contract & Hours

Full-time | 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis
