Job summary

Marshall Motor Group in Swindon is seeking a driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team for new and used vehicles, and to drive weekly targets for vehicle sales, finance and insurance while delivering excellent customer service.

You will own budgeting and forecasting, steer growth to align with store goals, and coach the team to perform at a high level, balancing customer satisfaction with profitability.

Responsibilities

• You'll lead and drive performance of the Sales team, overseeing both new and used vehicle sales.
• You'll achieve weekly sales targets for vehicles, finance, and insurance products, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• You'll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and driving business growth in alignment with the store's goals.
• You'll lead by example - working closely with customers, managing escalations, and supporting team development through coaching, performance management, and recognition.
• Lead a high-performing sales team with a prestigious automotive brand.

Requirements

• Someone with proven experience as a Sales Manager within the automotive industry, preferably in a main dealership environment.
• Someone with a leader's mindset and strong relationship-building skills, able to inspire and motivate a team to consistently meet and exceed targets.
• Someone results-oriented, with a track record of maximising profitability through effective stock management and sales strategies.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive basic salary | OTE up to £20,000 + company car

Contract

Full-time | 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rotational basis
