Job summary

Marshall Skoda Canterbury, part of Marshall Motor Group, is seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to lead finance and insurance activities within a franchised dealership. You will drive compliant deal closures, advise Sales Executives, and mentor the team to enhance product knowledge and performance.

The role offers a competitive OTE package, company car, and extensive training. You will work 45 hours per week with weekend involvement on a rota, contributing to a high-performance sales

• Experience as a Transaction or Business Manager in a franchised automotive dealership.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of F&I regulations and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sale of finance, insurance, warranties and add-ons with FCA compliance.
• Support Sales Executives with expert advice to close deals and appraise part exchanges.
• Mentor and develop the team to improve performance and product knowledge in F&I.
• Manage performance reporting on finance and insurance with accurate tracking and continuous improvement.

About The Role

Transaction Manager

Marshall Skoda Canterbury

At Marshall Skoda Canterbury, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced Transaction Manager to take on a pivotal role in one of the UK’s most respected automotive retailers.

In this role:

• You’ll facilitate the sale of finance, insurance, warranties and value-added products, ensuring compliance with all FCA guidelines.
• You’ll support the Sales Executives by providing expert advice and assistance in closing deals, appraising part exchanges, and guiding customers through their purchase journey.
• You’ll lead by example, mentoring and developing your team to improve their performance and product knowledge, particularly around F&I.
• You’ll manage performance reporting on finance and insurance, ensuring accurate tracking and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for:

• Someone with experience as a Transaction or Business Manager from a franchised automotive dealership, though we will consider a high-performing Sales Executive or Sales Controller ready to step up.
• Someone with strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of F&I regulation and best practice.
• Someone organised, a confident team leader who can inspire trust, coach effectively, and support a high-performance sales culture.
• Most importantly, someone who thrives in a customer-focused, compliance-driven environment, and who’s ready to help others succeed while delivering great outcomes.
