Job summary

Marshall BYD Swindon is seeking a skilled Transaction Manager to lead finance, insurance and value-added product sales. You will support Sales Executives, advise on deals, appraise part exchanges and guide customers through the purchase journey.

The role requires strong F&I knowledge, leadership ability, and a customer-focused, compliant mindset to drive a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as Transaction or Business Manager in a franchised auto dealership.
• Strong commercial awareness and F&I regulation knowledge.
• Organised, confident leader who can coach and drive performance.
• Customer-focused and compliant with FCA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the sale of finance, insurance, warranties and value-added products, ensuring FCA compliance.
• Support the Sales Executives by advising and assisting in closing deals, appraising part exchanges, and guiding customers through their journey.
• Lead by example, mentoring and developing the team to improve performance and product knowledge around F&I.
• Manage performance reporting on finance and insurance, ensuring accurate tracking and continuous improvement.

About The Role

Transaction Manager

Marshall BYD Swindon

At Marshall BYD Swindon, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced Transaction Manager to take on a pivotal role in one of the UK’s most respected automotive retailers.

In this role:

• You’ll facilitate the sale of finance, insurance, warranties and value-added products, ensuring compliance with all FCA guidelines.
• You’ll support the Sales Executives by providing expert advice and assistance in closing deals, appraising part exchanges, and guiding customers through their purchase journey.
• You’ll lead by example, mentoring and developing your team to improve their performance and product knowledge, particularly around F&I.
• You’ll manage performance reporting on finance and insurance, ensuring accurate tracking and continuous improvement.

We're looking for:

• Someone with experience as a Transaction or Business Manager from a franchised automotive dealership, though we will consider a high-performing Sales Executive or Sales Controller ready to step up.
• Someone with strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of F&I regulation and best practice.
• Someone organised, a confident team leader who can inspire trust, coach effectively, and support a high-performance
  sales culture.
• Most importantly, someone who thrives in a customer-focused, compliance-driven environment, and who’s ready to help others succeed while delivering great outcomes.
