Job summary

Confidential in Edenbridge is seeking a Training Coordinator to ensure colleagues have the skills they need to do their jobs safely and effectively. You will manage inductions, refresher training and liaise with HR, Quality and Production to keep records up to date and on schedule.

The role combines people support, planning and data tasks, with opportunities to develop training systems and Power BI reporting, making a real difference to colleagues’ development and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous administration role with data processing experience.
• GCSEs or equivalent.
• Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Power BI awareness.
• Very good numeracy with accurate data entry.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal, at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating all production and staff training, ensuring new starters receive training.
• Scheduling in-house and external training, including health and safety, fire warden and first aider courses, and liaising with HR on bookings.
• Inputting and updating training records and new employee details on the training database.
• Reviewing overdue training, producing gap reports and implementing plans to bring everyone up to date.
• Supporting inductions, work trials and e-learning, and delivering basic production training to operators.
• Maintaining training calendars, department colour charts and skills matrices.
