Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Training & Development Coordinator in Rochdale to oversee site-wide employee training activities. The role focuses on building capability, ensuring compliance, and supporting a strong safety culture.

You will coordinate structured training plans, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement across the site. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-driven, and able to collaborate with Quality, EHS, and Engineering teams to update SOPs and ensure timely

Responsibilities

• Create structured training plans for new starters and employees moving into new roles.
• Define training activities, timelines, and trainers, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain accurate training records, sign offs, and documentation across all departments.
• Ensure training plans include all relevant SOPs, Work Instructions, Risk Assessments, COSHH and SDS requirements.
• Coordinate mandatory training such as First Aid, Fire Marshal, Spill Response, and Powered Vehicle training.
• Support SOP and Work Instruction updates by working with Quality, EHS, and Engineering teams.
• Report on training progress, completion rates, and compliance metrics.
• Engage with all shifts when required to ensure consistent training standards across site.

A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Training & Development Coordinator to oversee all site wide employee training activity. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail driven, and passionate about building capability, ensuring compliance, and supporting a strong safety culture.

You'll be responsible for coordinating structured training plans, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring alignment with SOPs and work instructions, and supporting continuous improvement across the site. Role Overview
