Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Training Coordinator on a 6 Month Rolling Contract, based in Lincoln.

Role Summary

The Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing, scheduling, and supporting all company training activities. This role ensures training programs run smoothly by coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate training records, communicating with participants, and assisting in the development of training materials. The Training Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing employee skills, supporting compliance requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track global AGT/SGT FSE mobilisations for OJT opportunities
  • Carry out data analysis from the planning tool, I&C planning and regional FS assignments not in the planning tool through direct contact with region.
  • Review all OJT requirements for global headcount and match OJT opportunities with OJT requirements
  • Working with the service training and development officer measure competence gap between completed and required development activity and identify training opportunities to close the gap
  • Liaise with PM/CSM per mobilisation to see if trainee can be accepted
  • Create and maintain good relationship with project managers to ensure best opportunities are available for development of FSE's
  • Liaise with planning team for mobilisation requirements
  • Understand requirements for mobilisation relevant to the trainee to ensure that mobilisation is planned and delivered
  • Brief onsite assessors for OJT requirement of trainee
  • Set expectations with trainee and on-site assessor to ensure success against development activities targeted per mobilisation. Activate and deactivate OJT on site witnesses in the competence management system
  • Track trainee performance onsite and ensure task completion is completed for completed actions
  • Maintain regular contact with trainees during assignment to ensure that mobilisations for development are efficient
  • Report on development progress of FSE's including ready for assessment notification and risks and blockers to achieving competence within target cycle time
  • Compile evidence of development task completion with training and development officer for input to roundtable by gathering data from assignments, assessor reports and track KPI's for progress against gap
Requirements
  • Knowledge of competency frameworks/training and development methodologies, learning management systems
  • Excellent communication skills working with different cultures and globally located multinational staff
  • Excellent planning and organising ability.
  • Able to manage multiple requests and oversee technical development of large numbers of staff simultaneously
  • Team working and leadership skills to ensure that all departments meet their technical development need by driving training through the business
  • Technical knowledge as it relates to understanding training need and sourcing of training to fill training and development gaps
  • Excellent knowledge and networking within industry for legislative changes, mandatory requirements for working in oil and gas/industry sector
  • IT literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
