We are looking for a driven Project Delivery Manager to lead and manage the project delivery team, responsible for the successful delivery of the UK School’s conference and training programme (circa. 500 activities per annum) and other associated projects where required.

The Training & Conference Project Delivery Manager Opportunity

The role's objectives are to deliver a high-quality training programme which supports the strategy and targets of the UK School, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and supporting the Supply Chain Sustainability School as the go to for sustainability training in the built environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and oversee a large-scale training programme (500+ workshops, webinars, and conferences annually), both virtual and face-to-face, ensuring quality, budget control, and timely delivery.
  • Lead on the design and delivery of major events, including the annual School Summit, 20+ virtual conferences, 120+ webinars, and 200+ workshops.
  • Manage trainer directories, training catalogues, and logistics to meet engagement and learner targets.
  • Work with collaboration groups, marketing, customer success, and content teams to align programmes with business priorities and KPIs.
  • Monitor feedback, report on outcomes, and drive continuous improvement and innovation in training delivery.
  • Support international expansion (Ireland, USA, Australia) by providing training programme expertise.
  • Manage supplier relationships, budgets, and negotiate contracts where required.
  • Coach and develop team members, ensuring resources align with strategic goals.
  • Contribute to process improvements, reporting, and use of project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to enhance efficiency and customer service.
About You
  • A strong people manager with a mix of strong project management skills and experience of developing compelling conference agendas. A good understanding of marketing with a commercial outlook is desirable.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus around upskilling and enabling the team to develop their skills.
  • Takes on full ownership and responsibility to deliver against target, solve problems and manage workload proactively.
  • Experienced in managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Engages meaningfully with colleagues and stakeholders, to understand and assess their views and build a consensus.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise and thrives in a busy environment.
  • Cost control and budget management with a good commercial outlook.
  • Able to negotiate effectively when required.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and able to use the results to make recommendations to the business.
  • Communicates clearly in both verbal and written form, with excellent presentation skills.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to work in a flexible and creative way.
