Finlay Jude Recruitment is recruiting Trainee Smart Meter Technicians for a field-based role across the North of Great Yarmouth, Aldeburgh and Bury St Edmunds. No prior experience is required; full training, equipment, and a company vehicle are provided.

As a Field Technician, you will install data logging devices to support water network performance and leakage analysis, working independently to high standards with ongoing training and progression.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good time keeping, reliable and hard working.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions.
• A Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain water sensors recording acoustics, pressure and flow.
• Use of specialist equipment and accurate data collection (timesheets, survey forms, leakage reports).
• Maintain health and safety compliance and daily vehicle checks.
