Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting for Trainee Smart Meter Technicians in the UK utilities sector. No prior experience is necessary — full training, equipment, and a company vehicle will be provided.

Install and exchange smart water meters at customer properties, conduct water network surveys, upload data via tablet, and work independently across the local area. Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good time keeping, reliable and hard working.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions.
• A Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and exchange smart water meters at customer properties.
• Undertaking water network surveys and installations.
• Upload data using provided tablet and software.
• Work independently across the local area.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.
