Finlay Jude Associates Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of a leading utilities organisation for Trainee Smart Meter Technicians in Plymouth. No prior experience is required as full training, equipment and a company vehicle are provided.

The role involves installing and exchanging smart water meters at customer properties, undertaking water network surveys, uploading data on a tablet, and working across the local area. A positive attitude, reliability and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Install and exchange smart water meters at customer properties
• Undertaking water network surveys and installations
• Upload data using provided tablet and software
• Work independently across the local area
• Represent the company in a professional manner
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and company standards
