Job summary

The Portfolio Group is recruiting a Trainee Sales Consultant in Hinckley. You will start with a 4-week sales training program to learn our products and services. Basic salary £25,000 with OTE £50,000+, plus a joining bonus of £500 per month for the first three months.

Work hours are 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM, with access to a car. You will join a team that supports you to close deals and earn uncapped commissions, with potential to reach £100K for top performers in Year 1.

Qualifications

• No prior sales experience required.
• 4 weeks of sales training provided.
• Commission-based earnings with uncapped commissions.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and packages to clients to meet compliance and regulation requirements.
• Book meetings for Sales Managers.

Coaches guide you in your first few weeks on the floor, and high performing sales staff around you will help you too. We are a team of individuals who all boost each other to perform at our very best. You'll find that very quickly you'll secure deals in your first few weeks on the phones. It can be that quick!

Absolutely not, we can teach you everything you need to know. Our latest new starters have come from The Army, Marketing, Hairdressers, Facilities Management & Cruise Ship Workers, Hospitality, Chefs & Construction - the key to unlocking potential is confidence, if you have this, you'll succeed here.

What would I be doing?

You’ll make a real impact by selling products and packages to ensure clients working environments meet compliance and regulation rules. We provide advice and guidance, we have apps for clients to use when they seek confidence in what they are doing, we have introduced AI to our products, and we can support with employment law and health and safety in businesses.

Book in meetings for our Sales Managers, and for every deal you have booked that's closed you earn commission. This is why you can be earning £50,000+ in Year 1. Remember commission is uncapped; top performers are hitting up to £100K.

When can I interview?
