Job summary

Charters Estate Agents in Southampton is seeking a proactive Trainee Property Relationship Manager to join our busy Property Management team. You will work closely with landlords, tenants and contractors, building relationships while learning the ins and outs of lettings, compliance and property management.

This role is ideal if you’re starting your career in property and eager to develop practical knowledge on inspections, maintenance coordination, tenancy administration and records management,

Qualifications

• Proven background in customer service.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Friendly, approachable and passionate about providing a great service.
• Confident communicator who enjoys meeting people.

Responsibilities

• Build positive and professional relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Respond to maintenance issues and manage repairs through to completion.
• Assist with arranging and carrying out property inspections.
• Develop understanding of property legislation, compliance and safety requirements.
• Respond to tenant enquiries and resolve issues professionally and empathetically.
• Support tenancy administration, including notices and rental reviews.
• Keep property records and documentation accurate and up to date.
• Manage workload and prioritise effectively in a busy property environment.
• Develop knowledge of lettings and property management through hands-on experience.

What you'll bedoing

As a Trainee Property Relationship Manager, you'll work alongside our experienced Property Management team, gradually taking responsibility for your own portfolio as your knowledge and confidence develop.

• Build positive and professional relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
