Job summary

Legacy Leisure is seeking a Trainee Duty Manager in Llantwit Major to lead health and safety standards and deliver exceptional customer care. The role includes developing engaging leisure programmes to boost centre usage and profitability, and stepping into shift management to maximise overall performance while mentoring under a current Duty Manager.

Qualifications

• First Aid at Work and NPLQ are essential or training will be provided.
• A recognised Pool Plant Operators qualification is desirable or must be obtained within a set period.
• Desirable qualification in Leisure Management, Sports Development or related subject.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standards of health and safety and customer care within the Centre.
• Develop and promote an exciting, innovative leisure programme to increase usage and profitability.
• Assume shift management responsibility to maximise Centre performance and customer care.
• Work closely with a current Duty Manager to gain experience and knowledge.
• Perform recreation assistant duties when required.
