Job summary

Greater Anglia, based in the Orient Way location, is hiring a Train Presentation Team Member to ensure trains are clean, safe, and presentable. You will work with the Team Leader on a daily cleaning programme, with full training and uniform provided on joining.

The role requires a 37-hour week on a day shift, Monday–Friday, with shifts 08:45 to 16:09, and you must arrange your own transport to shifts. DBS and Right to Work checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of cleaning equipment safely and competently.
• Follow the daily cleaning programme in line with manuals and risk assessments.
• Report sharps and hazards per safety procedures.
• Assist during disruption and guide customers to help.
• Report lost property according to company policies.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented member to join the team as a Train Presentation Team Member to help maintain our trains to the highest standards for safety and passenger satisfaction. You’ll work closely with your Team Leader to follow a daily cleaning program, ensuring trains are clean, safe, and presentable. Full training and uniform are provided upon joining.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Presentation Working Team Leader to under take the day-to-day cleaning duties as priorities dictate.
• Meet our customers’ needs by providing clean, safe, and presentable trains.
• Operate a range of specialised cleaning equipment;subject to competency,in a safe and well organised manner.
• Undertake planned cleaning programme in accordance with daily workloads, GA Presentation Cleaning Manuals, Safe Systems of Work, COSHH and Risk Assessments.
• Attend to and report (where necessary) sharps and biological hazards in accordance with the relevant safe system of work/GA Presentation Cleaning Manual.
• During disruption assist with ad-hoc cleaning duties and assist customer to the best your ability to direct them to appropriate help.
• Deal with and report all lost property in accordance with Company policies/procedures.
