Job summary

Wolseley is seeking a Sales Assistant in Chichester (PO19 8UL) to serve customers on the trade counter, recommend products, and provide quotes, helping to drive repeat business.

This full-time role offers a Monday to Friday 7:30am–5:00pm schedule, plus one in three Saturdays, with a generous benefits package including enhanced annual leave, a defined pension, potential bonuses, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in face-to-face sales or customer service.
• Ability to build relationships and drive repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers on the trade counter with product recommendations and quotations.
• Build relationships with customers to maximise lifetime value and repeat business.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email with prompt quotations.
• Carry out general warehouse duties including stock booking, putting away and order picking/packing.
