Job summary

Wolseley in Chichester is hiring a Sales Assistant to help customers on the trade counter, offer product recommendations and quotations, and support daily warehouse tasks. You will learn product ranges and build lasting relationships with tradespeople.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, with occasional Saturday shifts, a competitive salary of £26,695 plus bonus and extensive benefits, and opportunities to develop through the Wolseley Talent Guild.

Qualifications

Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience is beneficial.
To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
Building relationships with customers to drive repeat business and maximise lifetime value.
Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email with prompt, courteous quotes.
General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock, putting it away and picking & packing customer orders.
