Job summary

Journey Further is seeking a Tracking Specialist to own the technical tracking layer for web and app. You will design and implement tagging strategies, configure Google Tag Manager and GA4, and ensure accurate conversion signals for paid media with GDPR-compliant tracking.

Work across multiple client accounts, diagnosing issues under pressure and translating technical decisions into clear client guidance. You will also stay ahead of server-side tagging trends and consent requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing GTM and GA4 across web and app.
• Strong understanding of data layer concepts and event structuring.
• Experience with consent management and GDPR considerations.
• Ability to diagnose and fix tracking issues under deadline pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design tagging strategies across web and app with robust data layers.
• Configure GTM and GA4, including custom events and conversions.
• Ensure signal accuracy for Google Ads, Meta, etc., via client-side and server-side tagging.
• Debug tracking issues and audit existing setups to improve data quality.
• Collaborate with clients and activation teams to scope requirements and provide recommendations.
• Stay ahead of measurement landscape changes, including server-side tagging and Consent Mode.
