GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Sensor Actuator Assurance Engineer in London to develop and maintain verified methods for sensors and actuators used in PU control systems. You will support both lab and track operations, ensuring devices meet performance and safety requirements throughout their lifecycle.

The role requires 3+ years in electronics within motorsport/high-performance settings, a relevant engineering degree, and proficiency in MATLAB and data analysis.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with electronics in motorsport/high-performance environments.
• Proven experience managing and maintaining mission critical devices.
• Strong understanding of sensor/actuator physics and operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MATLAB and statistical tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop test methods and procedures aligned with standards and PU use cases to assess sensor and actuator reliability and accuracy.
• Design protective storage and installation procedures to preserve device integrity.
• Create and execute documented evaluation methods and maintain complete records.
• Collaborate with Data Analysis and PLM to correlate usage with reliability and set mileage/service limits.
• Support sensor/actuator selection for PU applications with Electronics Systems Engineering and PU Design.
• Execute assurance testing; document results and produce statistical fleet reports.
• Engage suppliers on performance issues and supply chain concerns as needed.
