GM Performance Power Units in Manchester seeks a Sensor Actuator Assurance Engineer to develop and maintain methods to verify sensors and actuators used in PU control systems, supporting lab and track operations to meet performance and safety requirements.

You will design test methods, implement handling procedures, create non-destructive evaluation records, and collaborate with Data Analysis and PLM teams to relate usage to reliability; motorsport experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with electronics in motorsport or high-performance environments.
• Experience managing mission critical devices; strong sensor/actuator knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Develop test methods and procedures aligned with manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.
• Design and implement protective storage solutions and handling procedures.
• Create and execute non-destructive evaluation methods and maintain records.
• Partner with Data Analysis and PLM teams to correlate device usage with reliability outcomes.
• Support sensor/actuator selection for PU applications with Engineering teams.
• Execute assurance testing; document results and produce statistical reports.
