Job summary

Mattinson Partnership is seeking a Town Planner to join our South of England team. The role offers exposure to residential, educational, strategic and commercial developments across the region, with progression towards RTPI chartership.

We welcome candidates with 2+ years of planning experience, strong communication, and excellent organisation. A full UK driving licence is required, and the successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative consultancy.

Qualifications

• At least two years' relevant planning experience.
• Working towards RTPI chartership.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in property development.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage smaller planning projects from inception to completion.
• Support the delivery of medium and large-scale projects.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and external consultants.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with wider project teams.
• Manage competing priorities and deliver work to agreed deadlines.
