Tate in Hitchin is seeking a Town Planner to support planning applications and appeals for a variety of clients, from private homeowners to developers. A minimum of one year’s experience is preferred, with a clear path to seniority as the business grows. You will be part of a close-knit team delivering credible planning outcomes.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of Town Planning experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence working with LPAs and stakeholders.
• Working towards RTPI membership.
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word essential).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and support planning applications and appeals.
• Liaise with clients, Local Planning Authorities, and stakeholders.
• Undertake research into planning policy, site history, and constraints.
• Draft planning appraisals, statements, and representations.
• Advise on planning conditions and post-decision matters.
• Support Local Plan site promotions and monitoring.
• Senior Planner experience (Desirable / Salary-Influencing).
• Managing projects with minimal supervision.
• Leading planning strategies and advising on appeals.
• Involvement in Local Plan promotions or land supply work.
• Attending external meetings and committees.
• Demonstrating commercial awareness, including fee management.
