Headquartered in London, the brands have over 2 million customers worldwide via the ASOS platform, generating approximately £200m in sales. Following the formation of a joint venture between ASOS and HEARTLAND in October 2024, ASOS is establishing a dedicated, standalone cross-functional team to unlock the growth potential of TOPSHOP and TOPMAN. The brands will benefit from ASOS infrastructure and resources while maintaining the creative freedom and agility of standalone brands.

In the next 12 months, TOPSHOP and TOPMAN will expand their offline and online retail presence, including the launch of Topshop.com and new wholesale partnerships.

Job Description

You will be…

1. Responsible for the smooth daily operations of the Merchandising department.
2. Forecasting sales and stock levels to meet sales plans and margin/profit targets.
3. Monitoring department performance, identifying opportunities, and assessing potential risks or losses.
4. Collaborating closely with Buying teams to develop successful range plans.
5. Participating in trade meetings with Heads and Directors.
6. Evaluating department operations, focusing on lead times and overall performance.
7. Developing and managing an MA to support team development.
8. Managing the WSSI and supporting trade plans.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with…

1. Proven merchandising experience in a fashion retail environment.
2. Experience in planning weekly sales, stock, and intake management.
3. Confidence to manage and own a category, including participating in weekly trade meetings.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally at all levels.
5. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
6. Experience in managing and developing team members (desirable).
7. Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and MS Office; knowledge of reporting tools is a plus.
