Job description

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintaining the Critical Path and communicating with suppliers to ensure that we meet each key date in the trading calendar and the product runs on time.
  2. Managing and keeping track of a high volume of samples through fit sessions, development, shoots, and sign-off meetings.
  3. Accurately raising purchase orders in line with supplier/brand deadlines, and managing these throughout the product lifecycle to ensure the range plan is fully up to date.
  4. Working closely with Merchandising, Design, Production, Technical, Marketing, and your Brands/Suppliers daily.
  5. Delivering efficient administrative support to the team to ensure smooth operations, with relevant reports and files kept up to date at all times.
  6. Supporting your Buying team with product development that is customer-focused and aligns with the wider business strategy, paying attention to commercialism, costing, and innovation.
  7. Conducting regular competitor shops to understand activity, identify opportunities, and present ideas to the team.
  8. Attending relevant systems and soft skills training to support your development.

Headquartered in London, they have over 2 million customers globally through the ASOS platform and generate brand sales of approximately £200 million. Our mission is to unlock the best of fashion for everyone, with creativity and innovation at our core.

Following the formation of a Joint Venture between ASOS and HEARTLAND in October 2024, ASOS is creating a standalone cross-functional team dedicated to unlocking the growth potential of TOPSHOP and TOPMAN. The brands will benefit from ASOS infrastructure and resources while maintaining creative freedom and agility.

In the next 12 months, TOPSHOP and TOPMAN will expand their offline and online retail presence, including the launch of Topshop.com and new wholesale partnerships.

  • Has a strong understanding of 20-something culture and the TOPSHOP/TOPMAN customer, and can identify relevant trends.
  • Has excellent attention to detail, ensuring all important aspects like pricing, shipment dates, and product attributes are accurate.
  • Can build strong professional relationships.
  • Is confident using MS Office and eager to learn new systems.
