Job description

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintaining the Critical Path and communicating with suppliers to ensure that we meet each key date in the trading calendar and the product runs on time.
  2. Managing and keeping track of a high volume of samples through fit sessions, development, shoots, and sign-off meetings.
  3. Accurately raising purchase orders in line with supplier/brand deadlines, and managing these throughout the product lifecycle to ensure the range plan is fully up to date.
  4. Working closely with Merchandising, Design, Production, Technical, Marketing, and your Brands/Suppliers daily.
  5. Delivering efficient administrative support to the team to ensure smooth operations and that relevant reports and files are kept up to date.
  6. Supporting your Buying team with product development that is customer-focused and aligns with the wider business strategy, with attention to commercialism, costing, and innovation.
  7. Conducting regular competitor shops to understand activity, identify opportunities, and present ideas to the team.
  8. Attending relevant systems and soft skills training to support your development.

TOPSHOP and TOPMAN are iconic British fashion brands with 60 years of heritage. Headquartered in London, the Brands have over 2 million customers globally through the ASOS platform and generate sales of around 200 million pounds. Our mission is to unlock the best of fashion for everyone, with creativity and innovation at our core.

Following the formation of a Joint Venture between ASOS and HEARTLAND in October 2024, ASOS is creating a standalone cross-functional team dedicated to unlocking the growth potential of TOPSHOP and TOPMAN. The brands will benefit from ASOS infrastructure and resources while maintaining creative freedom and agility.

The next 12 months will see the expansion of the brands' offline and online retail presence, including the launch of Topshop.com and new wholesale partnerships.

  1. Is super organized, able to use their initiative, and can work in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Lives and breathes fashion and is passionate about product.
  3. Has a strong understanding of 20-something culture and the TOPSHOP/TOPMAN customer, and can identify relevant trends.
  4. Has great attention to detail to ensure all important aspects like pricing, shipment dates, and product attributes are accurate.
  5. Can build strong professional relationships.
  6. Is confident using MS Office and eager to learn new systems.
