Job summary

DHL Air (UK) Ltd is seeking a Tooling Controller based in the East Midlands area. You will manage aircraft tooling assets, oversee receipt, inspection, storage, issue, tracking and dispatch, and ensure full compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.

The role is a 40-hour week, Monday-Friday day shift, within a dynamic DHL logistics team. The ideal candidate has tooling store or aviation support experience, strong MS Office skills, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in tooling store or aviation support environment desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of acceptance and storage procedures for aeronautical parts desirable.
• Minimum five GCSEs (9-4/A-C or above) incl. maths and English.

As a Tooling Controller, you will be responsible for:

• The effective control and management of aircraft tooling assets
• The receipt, inspection, storage, issue, tracking and dispatch of aircraft tooling

• Previous experience within a tooling store, or aviation support environment role would be desirable
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Full UK driving licence
• Sound knowledge of working procedures relating to the acceptance and storage of aeronautical parts would be desirable
• Minimum of five GCSEs (9-4/A-C or above), including maths and English, or equivalent qualifications
