Job summary

DHL Air (UK) Ltd at East Midlands Airport, Derby, is seeking a highly motivated Tooling Controller for a permanent full-time role. You will work on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, on day shift, at EMA Cargo West.

The position focuses on effective control of aircraft tooling assets and compliant airline operations. Responsibilities include receipt, inspection, storage, issue, tracking and dispatch of tooling, with adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous tooling/aviation experience is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Full UK driving licence.
• GCSEs including maths and English.

You will be working alongside the highly skilled and respected Logistics team based at East Midlands Airport, on a 40-hour week across a Monday-Friday day shift pattern.

The Role:

As a Tooling Controller, you will be responsible for:

• The effective control and management of aircraft tooling assets
• The receipt, inspection, storage, issue, tracking and dispatch of aircraft tooling
• Being fully compliant with Company procedures, and regulatory requirements
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a tooling store, or aviation support environment role would be desirable
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Full UK driving licence
• Sound knowledge of working procedures relating to the acceptance and storage of aeronautical parts would be desirable
• Minimum of five GCSEs (9-4/A-C or above), including maths and English, or equivalent qualifications
